Hi Friends! Welcome to Play All Day Kids! My name is Jess and I'm so glad you're here. I am a homeschooling mama to 8 year old twins and I'm passionate about play. 

Before having kids, I was an elementary library teacher who specialized in using creative, play-based library centers. It was important to me to give my students opportunities to be independent, self directed learners in the library. Now I spend my days playing with my own kids and supporting them as they grow and learn about the world around them. I love to give them invitations to create, opportunities to explore, and plenty of time to play independently. 

My passion for play in our home quickly expanded to making sensory play bins, play dough kits, and peg dolls for friends. In turn, this has led to Play All Day Kids. I can see how much my children learn about the world and themselves through play and creative endeavors and am thrilled to bring that to kids all over. 

Play All Day Kids donates 10% of our monthly shop sales to a non-profit we believe in. Each month we choose an organization that supports anti-racism and activism, education, women's rights, or the LGBTQ, Black, AAPI, and Latino communities. Some organizations we have been able to support are The Conscious Kid's Anti-Racist Children’s Books Education Fund, the Loveland Foundation, the NAACP’s Legal Defense and Educational Fund, BAGLY, Inc., the Black Women's Health Imperative, the Okra Project, and Black Girls Code.
